Despite their height, the Moose Hunter GTX boots only weigh around 790 g per boot, which makes them comfortable on long treks. They have a tall, 10”/25 cm shaft and a standard-width last. The Moose Hunter GTX boots have a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane, and, like the rest of the Moose Hunter range, feature Mossy Oak® Break-Up Country® camouflage. During manufacture, all boot membranes are tested in a waterbath, to ensure they are waterproof. We then perform a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of total boot production, as a further guarantee that the membrane is of the highest possible quality. The boot’s upper is made from durable and quick-drying polyester, and the soles are in semi-stiff Vibram® Aftersky, which ensures good grip. The midsoles of the boots are shock-absorbing, for long-distance walking comfort even on very rugged ground. They are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material. The boot’s stitching is also reinforced.
